BS 6206, 建筑用平板安全玻璃和安全塑料沖擊性能測試 pecification for Impact Performance Requirements for Flat Safety Glass and Safety Plastics for Use in Building
Scope: This standard specifies performance requirements and a test method in respect of energy absorption (impact) for flat safety glass and safety plastics for use in buildings. These requirements are intended to reduce the risk of injuries caused by cutting and piercing in accidents where these materials are involved. Three classes of safety glass and safety plastic are defined. This standard does not specify situations where safety glass and safety plastics should be used, nor does it specify requirements for their durability.

Sample required: 樣品要求:	Class A: 12 pieces of glass (865±3mm(W)*1930±3mm(H) or 865 mm W x at least 600 mm H).
	Class B: 8 pieces of glass (865±3mm(W)*1930±3mm(H) or 865 mm W x at least 600 mm H)
	Class C: 4 pieces of glass (865±3mm(W)*1930±3mm(H) or 865 mm W x at least 600 mm H)
	For toughened glass, one extra piece glass needed for toughening quality test
	A級: 12塊玻璃(865±3mm(寬)*1930±3(高)或 865 mm 寬 x 至少600 mm 高)
	B級: 8塊玻璃(865±3mm(寬)*1930±3(高)或 865 mm 寬 x 至少600 mm 高)

	若為鋼化玻璃,另需加送一塊玻璃碎片測試

Remark: 備注:	1. The weight of the complete impactor is 45kg.
	2. This standard is designed for the safety assessment of flat safety glass and safety plastics for use in buildings, however it also may be referenced to evaluate the performance of the glass used in furniture.
	3. This standard requires all panels shall be marked, accordingly please require client providing the marking when the full tests are requested.
